Via Sacra

Paestum is one of the most important architectural testimonies of Magna Grecia, situated on the coast around 50 kilometres south of Salerno. It was founded in the VI century BC as Poseidonia by Greek farmers from Sibar. In 273 BC it became a Roman colony
